It has finally happened.
All the cats - my old folks - in the old pictures are gone now, except one.
Raven's still around and well.
My very dearest special boy - the Bot - was the last one to go at 19yrs old.
I miss his companionship terribly.
There was no one to sit with me.

All our newer (younger) cats are wonderful.
Punkin adopted us a couple of years ago, and since all the other cats at the time were teens, we wanted to get her an age-appropriate friend.
We came home with four cats. Coco & Friday are about Punkin's age, and Bitty & Kitten were 4 month old kittens. Bity had a neurological disorder that unfortunately gave her a very short life. Kitten was devastated at her loss. And so the search was on for a kitten for Kitten.
And then came Twinkie. The BEST cat in the WORLD. You cannot even believe how wonderful she is. It amazes us every day.
We have just the best bunch, truly.

But they are young and playful and independent and are not lap kitties so the fun is watching them play and petting them as they pass thru or perch.
Recently, Coco has decided to make her favorite spot next to me, and I am quite pleased.
She also greets me at the steps and follows me around the house.

Think they know? I do.

I couldn't be more fortunate.
